Benefits of Fraternity/Sorority Membership
Scholarships: Organizations have high scholarship stantards and place great emphasis on encouraging, developing and maintaining academic excellence.
Leadership: Each organization is a self-governing organization which depends on its members to take leadership roles within the chapter. A fraternity or sorority allows men and women to become involved not only in their chapter but also on campus.
Service: Organizations perform community service projects and raise money for charities each semester. Each chapter has its own philanthropy which is supported by its national organization.
Friendship: Friendship is one of the greatest benefits of a fraternity or sorority. They are like a family; they provide encouragement to one another and become a home away from home. The friendships that form last for years beyond college.
