Tuition & fees for self-support/on-line courses Tuition and fees for self-support/on-line sections (primarily offered through Division of Extended Programs) are assessed separately from the charges associated with regular courses.  Self support/on-line classes have a different tuition rate and are not part of the Western Promise rates. The costs associated with self-support sections are listed in the fees column in the Class Schedule.  For example, an undergraduate student enrolled in 8 credits of regular classes and a 4 credit self-support class is assessed regular tution for 8 credits plus the additional fee for the self-support class.  All WOU credits will count toward financial aid.

The costs of self-support courses do not include Incidental, Health & Wellness or Health Services fees; therefore, students registering only for self-support courses are not eligible to use services supported by Incidental, Health & Wellness or Health Services fees.

Students who drop a self-support class after the 100% refund period may owe at least partial fees for the class.

Self-support and on-line tuition rates:

Summer 2012 - Summer 2013
Undergraduate $180 per credit
Graduate $345 per credit
ReadOregon $359 per credit

Master of Arts in Interpreting Studies $390 per credit

Proposed Fall 2013 - Summer 2014 Tuition Rates subject to Western Oregon University Administrative Rule approval:

Undergraduate $186 per credit

Graduate $360 per credit

* Tuition & fee rates are determined by the State Board of Higher Education and/or Western Oregon University Administrative Rules and are subject to change. Some programs and courses have different tuition and fees. See specific program for additional information.
